This is my favorite Podcast! Victoria, your experiences and how forthcoming you answered the questions posed by Riley are priceless. I know you are an amazing author but to find out you played in a Rock-N-Roll Band, Roadhouse; designed evening wear (copied by others); went to college to become a psycho therapist and after a week knew that wasn’t for you. To find out that you would select playing in a Rock-n-Roll Band over writing was insight to your love of music and the connection you felt when playing with a group that you had a magical bond.
Fascinating to discover that the breakup of the Roadhouse band in 2012 was the catalyst for you becoming an author (to bring about healing and comfort).
The book Wicked Deeds by Kresley Cole made you want to write Paranormal Romance and you spent the next year reading books to ensure your books would be something not previously done. The tenacity and dedication you invest into writing has been rewarded by receiving the Best Paranormal Romance Series voted by readers 4 years in a row!
Victoria, thank you for allowing us to get to know our favorite author.
Dear Debra –
Thank you for taking the time to listen and for leaving such an in depth comment. Very much appreciated. 😀
Victoria, I truly enjoyed your interview; and I could have written so much more for example: 1) your one regret, 2) your unique advice for anyone considering publishing their own work, 3) others that have influenced your writing, 4) why women like to fantasize about romance with your unique characters and 5) the most difficult scene you ever developed and wrote! All your fans will love this podcast!!!
